The D-SUB connector is an industry standard connector and is used in a variety of ni's c series modules. To a large extent, the difference in D-SUB accessories is only the number of pins in the connector. D-SUB connector is one of the earliest solutions, and it is also the most diversified and widely used input or output connector system.

Classification

Typical applications of D-SUB interface are VGA (DA15 female)、 parallel port (DB25 female),、COM serial port (DE9 male, RS232)

Precautions for welding:

(1) Be careful not to scald the core wire during welding.

(2) The coated copper foil is not allowed to be slit or damaged;

(3) It is not allowed to cause the solder to dissolve into the gap between the inner mold and the connector, and the solder penetrates into the thermal insulation tape of the inner mold.

(4) It is recommended to wrap a layer of thermal insulation tape on the inner mold before wrapping the copper foil to prevent the core wire from being scalded when welding the copper foil or injecting the outer mold;

Type

The newly designed D-Sub connector has three termination methods: surface mount, crimp type and through-hole return. The number of pins is 9P, 15P, 25P and 37P, each arranged in two rows. The angled type has a standard height of 7.3mm and a European version of 3.6mm. The American version with a height of 6.3mm will also be available soon. The vertical type has two assembly heights, 6.3mm and 9mm. The plug-in area of the terminal is electroplated according to the IEC 807-3 / DIN 41652 standard, and the termination area is tin-plated. The integrated metal front panel meets electromagnetic interference requirements. The vertical surface mount version comes with a suction hood for access to the connector, and is packaged in tape or tray with automatic assembly.
