1. Standard

Including N series, C series.

(1) The N series is interchangeable with threaded butt and is available in 50 ohm and 75 ohm versions. The working frequency is 0~11GHz, and 3~12mm soft, semi-soft and semi-rigid cables can be connected. Precision N-heads are even suitable for 18GHz environments. Typical application scenarios include local area networks, test equipment, satellites, etc.
(2) The C series was successfully developed by concel. It uses an internal bayonet connection. Internal nominal size and operating frequency are the same as the N series, but not the same as the N series.

2. Small

Including BNC series, TNC series.

Press-fit or crimp BNC plugs for 195 series low loss
(1) BNC series, its operating frequency is 0~4GHz, the biggest feature is easy connection. Generally, it can be connected in less than one turn by rotating the connecting ferrule. It is suitable for occasions of frequent connection and separation, and is a general product at present, especially widely used in instrumentation, network, computer and other fields.
Reverse Polarity TNC Crimp Plug for Low Loss Series 300
(2) The TNC series is a threaded variant of BNC, also known as threaded BNC. Its operating frequency is up to 11GHz, and it has good vibration resistance.

3. Ultra-small

Including SMA, SMB, SMC, MCX, BMA, SAA series.

(1) SMA series, operating frequency 0~18GHz.
(2) SMB series, plug-in connector with plug, small size, easy to plug and unplug, good vibration resistance, small footprint, widely used in communication equipment, instrumentation and navigation with operating frequency of 0 to 4GHz.
(3) The SMC series is a threaded variant of the SMB. Its internal structure size is the same as that of SMB, and its operating frequency is 0~11GHz. Usually used for radar, navigation, etc.
(4) MCX series, its basic functions are similar to SMB, but the volume is 1/3 smaller than SMB.
(5) BMA series, also known as blind mate connector, its fixed socket has certain floating in the axial and radial direction, which can realize building block type, modular whole machine system, quick replacement of blind mate, working frequency 0~22GHz. Internal nominal dimensions and matching cables are the same as SMA.
(6) SAA series are push-in self-locking connectors, which are widely used in communication systems such as program-controlled switches and optical transceivers.

4. Micro

Contains SSMA, SSMB, MMCX series.

(1) SSMA series, similar in structure to SMA, but smaller in size and operating frequency up to 40GHz, is the current standard millimeter wave connector.
(2) SSMB series, similar in structure to SMB, but smaller in size.
(3) The MMCX series is a new type of push-in connector and the smallest connector currently in use.

→ Insert a few words here, because there are many models, so the selection of RF coaxial connectors should also be paid attention to:

1. Determine the external dimensions of the connector according to the use requirements, and determine the cable termination party;
2. Select RF coaxial connectors with characteristic impedance and operating frequency that meet the requirements according to the requirements of use;
3. According to the transmit power, insertion loss and shielding requirements, select the appropriate RF coaxial connector and appropriate cable;
4. Determine the connection method of the RF coaxial connector in combination with the size of the use space, the plugging frequency and the use environment;
5. Determine the fixing method (flange, nut, welding) according to the space used.
